The Fit2Finish Advantage

1. Age-specific programs:

Younger athletes - geared toward fun, game-based, team and individual coordination activities

Older athletes - focus is development of individual proprioception and body awareness, self-monitoring and game day prep

2. Individualized

Not every athlete has the same needs and every team has athletes with s range of abilities. Strengths and weaknesses of individual athletes are identified and are the focus of intervention.

*(Big programs just run them through a pre-designed training session)*

3. Fun

Athletes enjoy training and look forward to the next session.

4. Partner activities

Designed to be interactive, teach what to look for

5. Competitive activities

Designed to enhance the training environment by using the competitive nature of athletes to bring up effort level of all athletes

6. Drills and coaching points can easily be adapted for sport-specificity.

Coaches should be able to apply this training program immediately to their regular training sessions and add to their regular skills sessions, just by using the principles of KIPP training (i.e. slalom dribbling becomes "bend your knees dribbling and cutting," big slalom course done as partners with one attacking and one defending)

7. Simple equipment

All training done with basic, inexpensive equipment that any youth coach can obtain at little or no cost.

8. On the field

Training done on the field in order to mimic conditions in which injury challenges occur for athletes, also offers easy transition into regular practice mode.

9. Coach-focused training

All training drills are demonstrated for the coach and documented in the "wrap up kit", our goal is to teach the coach how to implement KIPP training with his or her athletes by showing him/her what to look for and how to accomplish proper form and appropriate intensity.

10. Follow-up

Every team is guaranteed that follow-up questions will be answered and follow-up sessions are available to enhance and support your on-going program.
